Install Maxmiize on your Mac

Before you start

Maxmiize is a native macOS application. You need:

  • macOS 12.0 (Monterey) or later
  • Apple Silicon or Intel
  • 8 GB RAM minimum

There is no Windows build. More RAM and free disk space help noticeably once you are working with several angles of a full game, because all of that film is stored and processed locally on your Mac.

Install it

  1. Open the Download page. It always serves the latest published release, so there is no version to choose.
  2. Open the downloaded disk image and drag Maxmiize into your Applications folder.
  3. Launch it from Applications.

Updates

The app checks for new releases itself once installed, so you do not need to come back to the download page for each update.

If it will not open

Confirm your macOS version first (Apple menu → About This Mac) — an older release than Monterey is the most common cause. If you are on a supported version and it still will not launch, send us a note with your macOS version and what you saw.
