Privacy Policy

The short version

Maxmiize is offline-first. Your game film, tags, annotations, playlists, and rosters live on your Mac — they are never uploaded to us and we cannot see them. Our servers store only what accounts, licensing, and billing require. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run ads.

Who we are

What we collect

• Account: your email address, an optional display name, and your password stored only as a modern cryptographic hash — we never keep or see the password itself.
• Devices: the name and platform of each Mac or browser signed in to your account, plus a hashed device identifier. We use it to count license seats, let you sign devices out remotely, and prevent trial abuse. The raw hardware identifier never leaves your machine.
• Licensing: your plan, trial status, license keys (stored hashed), and which devices hold a seat.
• Billing: payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we keep only the subscription state and invoice references Stripe gives us.
• Support messages: if you use the contact form or email us, we keep your name, email, and message so we can reply.
• Security logs: a minimal audit trail of security-relevant events (sign-ins, license changes) containing internal identifiers and IP addresses — not names or emails — kept to protect accounts and investigate abuse.

What we never collect

Your video files, tagged moments, annotations, playlists, playbooks, and team rosters stay in the app's local database on your Mac. Uploading them to our servers is not a feature of the product.

Emails we send

Transactional email only: verification links, license keys, team invitations, trial and billing notices. We do not send marketing email without your consent.

Cookies and local storage

The coach portal uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. The marketing website sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics.

Third parties we rely on

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Google Workspace — sending and receiving email.
• Cloudinary — hosting the public images shown on our marketing site (never your data or footage).

Each processes data under its own privacy policy, only as needed to provide its service to us.

Data retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and its data, email info@maxmiize.com from the account address; we remove personal data within 30 days, keeping only what tax or accounting law requires and the PII-free security log.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, and similar), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Write to us and we will honor it.

Children

Maxmiize is a professional coaching tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and notify account holders by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
