Tag a game with hotkeys

Blueprints

Tagging in Maxmiize is driven by blueprints — event templates built for basketball rather than a generic list of labels. A blueprint defines the events you care about so that what you capture is consistent from game to game and comparable across a season.

Hotkeys

Events are bound to customizable hotkeys. This is the single biggest difference between tagging being a chore and tagging keeping up with play: set your hotkeys to something your hands can find without looking, and keep them the same all season.

Live or after the game

You can tag live while recording, or post-game against imported film. Most staffs do some of both — rough live passes during the game, detail afterwards.

From tags to film

Tagged moments are what playlists are built from, so the tagging pass is what makes everything downstream fast. See Build and export a playlist.
